Step Into Running is the ORC's beginning program for women.
The 11-week training program for women is targeted for beginners, for those looking for a group workout or for those looking to take their running to the next level. The program is led by Bea Sides, RRCA Beginning Running Program National Award Winner.
Step Into Running offers 11-weeks of group training, a running log and a weekly question and answer sessions. Group support and encouragement helps participants increase their fitness levels and prepare for the Go Girl Run 5K on Labor Day.
EVENING SESSION: Weekly evening training begins Tuesday, April 25th at Peak Performance, 519 N 78th St, Omaha, NE Time: 6:00 PM.
MORNING SESSION: Weekly morning training begins Wednesday, June 21st at Peak Performance-HyVee Plaza, 3606 N 156th St, #102, Omaha, NE Time: 6:00 AM.
Sessions last approximately an hour and are comprised of 40 minute training sessions followed with stretching and helpful running tips.
COME PREPARED TO EXERCISE!
Cost: Free to ORC members or $25 per participant.
Pre-registration is not required. Fees are nonrefundable or transferable.
